I am a mother of 3 boys and I work for the City of Lynchburg in Customer Service and I just love my job. I work part time and I still have time to spend with my children.

Well it is time to update everyone. Well it is December 30th, 2001 and I am now an Administrative Aide for the Lynchburg Fire & EMS Department. I began this new job on November the 7th and I absolutely love my job. I am part of the Training Division. I am working with three Captains and one Battalion Chief. My boss and I were the only 2 people in the Training Division until January 3rd. I am learning alot and can't wait to learn even more.

Update as of May 2002, I am currently in a commercial and on city billboards for a program that the fire department is working with. Operation Smoke Detector is an operation that the department is sponsoring along with MA-Com. Our hopes are to have at least one working smoke detector in every home by October 2002. Wish us luck. I am deeply involved in this program and have been enjoying meeting the people from MA-Com.
